Plan a week of routes from your phone.
Tick the clients to visit this week, say which trucks work which days, and tap Plan the week. Easy Route gives each truck an optimized route for every day it works, all planned on the phone itself.
$19.99, once. iPhone, iPad and Android. No subscription and no account.
For anyone who drives a weekly round of client visits, with one truck or several.
Set the week up once. Plan it in one tap.
Easy Route is a list of your clients, a list of your trucks, and a button that plans the week.
What else it does
Each client has a visit length, and that is all the scheduling there is: no crews, job types or dispatch to set up.
Your client list is never sent to us
Routes are optimized on the phone. There is no account and no server to sign up for. The app sends an address to Apple or Google when you ask it to look one up, and a stop’s or a whole day’s addresses to a maps app when you tap Directions or Drive the day. For one stop, Apple Maps, or another maps app on Android, also gets its name and exact location. On iPhone, the client list is also in your own iCloud backup.
Import from a spreadsheet or your contacts
Bring clients in from a CSV file with a name and an address for each, or pick them in your phone’s contact picker. Easy Route never asks for access to your contacts: it sees only the ones you pick.
Repeat clients tick themselves
Set a client to repeat every so many weeks, from every week to once a year, and it is ticked for you in the weeks it is due.
Share a day or the whole week
Send a route as text, by Messages, email or any app on your phone, with a Google Maps link for every stop. Or open any stop in Apple Maps or Google Maps for directions.
It tells you who didn’t fit, and why
Before you plan, it checks the week’s visits against the trucks’ hours. After, every stop left out is named, with the reason and what would change it.
A visit length for each client
Give a client its own visit length, and set a typical visit for the rest. Arrival times on every route follow from them.
How it works
Six steps. The first three you do once. The last three are your week.
Once
- 1
Import your clients
From a spreadsheet saved as CSV, with a name and an address for each, or from your contacts.
- 2
Confirm their locations
Look the addresses up, check what was found, and confirm. Only a confirmed location is used for planning.
- 3
Set up your trucks and their days
Pick the days each truck works and its hours, and the home base every route starts and ends at.
Every week
- 4
Tick this week’s stops
Repeat clients are already ticked in the weeks they are due. The totals under the list say whether the visits fit the trucks’ hours.
- 5
Plan the week
One tap. Each truck gets a route for every day it works, with an arrival time for every stop, and anyone left out is named with the reason.
- 6
Share or drive
Send a day or the week by text or email, with a Google Maps link for every stop, or open any stop in your maps app.
One price, paid once.

Questions and answers
Anything else: email support@geteasyroute.com.
Does it work offline?
Yes, while the map data is on your phone. When you plan, Easy Route downloads any map data the week’s stops need, and with it on the phone it plans on real roads with no connection. Before you go somewhere without signal, you can download it ahead of time on the Offline tab. If map data is missing and there is no connection, it says so, and you can plan again once you are online. Looking up a new address does need a connection.
What leaves my phone?
Your client list is never sent to us. An address you ask it to look up goes to Apple, or on Android to your phone’s address lookup service (Google’s, on most phones), without the client’s name, phone number or notes. Directions and Drive the day open a stop, or a whole day, in a maps app. Google Maps is given addresses. Apple Maps is given a day’s addresses, or for one stop its name, address and exact location. On an Android phone without Google Maps, Directions gives another maps app the stop’s name and exact location. Map data comes from our server, which is asked for map areas, not clients. A route goes wherever you choose to share it. On iPhone and iPad, Easy Route’s data is in your own iCloud backup, like other apps’ data. The privacy policy has the detail.
Is it on iPhone and Android?
Both, and on iPad. It is sold separately on each store, and one App Store purchase covers iPhone and iPad. There is no account and no sync between devices. On iPhone, the client list is part of the phone’s own iCloud backup, so it comes back when a backup is restored onto a new phone. On Android, moving to a new phone with Android’s own transfer, by cable or Wi-Fi, can copy it across.
How do trucks and days work?
Add a truck for each vehicle, pick the days it works and its hours, and choose the home base every route starts and ends at. When you plan, each truck gets a route for each of its days, and every stop is visited at most once in the week. A stop that doesn’t fit is listed under the plan, with the reason.
What about clients I visit every few weeks?
Set a client to repeat every 1 to 52 weeks. In the weeks it is due, it is already ticked when you open the week’s stops. You can still tick or untick any client for any week.
How do I get my clients in?
From a spreadsheet saved as a CSV file, with a name column and an address column. Or from your contacts, picked in your phone’s own contact picker: Easy Route never asks for access to your contacts, and sees only the ones you pick. You can also add clients one at a time. Excel files need saving as CSV first.
How is map data downloaded, and how big is it?
When you plan, Easy Route downloads any map data your home base and the week’s stops need, and shows its progress. To get it ahead of time, the Offline tab works out what your clients need and shows its size before anything downloads. Lake and Porter counties in Indiana, for example, come to about 85 MB. Your phone may clear it when storage runs low; the next plan downloads what is missing again, and the Offline tab checks what is really there each time. Downloads are free.
Can I get a refund?
Apple and Google take the payment, so refunds go through them, under their rules: Apple’s refund page and Google Play’s refund policies.
What doesn’t it do?
It lists routes; it does not draw them on a map or give turn-by-turn directions. For those, open a stop in Apple Maps or Google Maps. There are no crews, job types, dispatch or appointment times, no sync between phones, no Excel import and no free trial.
